FORT MYERS, Florida, December 2, 2008 — Fort Myers wealth advisor A. Scott White attended the Financial Planning Association’s Leaders Conference in Denver. White is president-elect of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Financial Planning Association.

The Financial Planning Association is an international organization committed to promoting an understanding of personal financial planning. The Southwest Florida chapter provides financial planning support to the local community through the “Ask a Financial Planner” column and free “Ask a Planner Hotline,” both sponsored by the News-Press.

White said the local chapter is planning more events in the coming year to bring financial planning education to the public. “We are excited to build on past services to the community, and offer even more public education,” said White.
